Orokere Amuro Community Hails Chief Kunle Abogun for Provision of Street Lights, Road Grading

The people of Orokere Amuro, Mopamuro LGA, Kogi, have expressed profound gratitude to a Philanthropist, Chief Kunle Abogun for his generous donation of street lights and sponsorship of road grading projects across the community, describing the gesture as rare, exemplary, and deeply impactful.

In an appreciation letter signed by the President of Orokere Welfare Association (OWA), Comrade Olusegun Peter, on behalf of HRH Oba Michael Arogbonlo and the entire people of Orokere Amuro, the community commended Chief Abogun’s commitment to improving local infrastructure and quality of life.

According to the letter, the provision of street lights has significantly enhanced safety and daily living for residents,

The OWA President added that the grading of various roads has improved accessibility and mobility for both residents and visitors.

The community noted that such interventions are uncommon and reflect a genuine dedication to community development and humanity at large.

“We are deeply grateful for your kindness and selflessness.

“Your contribution stands as a shining example of service to humanity and will be remembered for years to come,” the letter stated.

The community also offered prayers for Chief Abogun, asking that Almighty God continue to bless and replenish him abundantly.

They wished him greater strength, divine grace, and increased capacity in all his endeavours, likening his impact to “a tree planted by the riverside, bearing fruits in all seasons.”

The Orokere Amuro Welfare Association, OWA, reiterated its sincere appreciation for Chief Abogun’s generosity and reaffirmed that the gesture would leave a lasting legacy in the community.
