Kogi State Commissioner for Hon. Wemi Jones on Thursday paid a condolence visit to the family of Chief. Sylvester Onoja, in Imane, Olomaboro Local Government Area, over the death of his Wife Mrs. Theresa Adijetu Onoja who passed on to glory at the age of 73 years.
Dr. Sylvester Onoja is a former Kogi State Commissioner for Education.
Hon. Jones, in a tribute, described the Late Mrs. Theresa Adijetu Onoja as an epitome of love, generosity, humility and a mother who brought up her children in a Godly way.
The Commissioner stated that Mrs. Theresa’s demise is an irreparable loss to the family and those she touched their lives positively in her lifetime.
He urged the bereaved to be consoled in the fact that the Late Theresa Adijetu Onoja lived a life worthy of emulation.
The Late Mrs. Theresa Adijetu Onoja will be buried on Friday 17th of April, 2026 in Imane, Olomaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The Commissioner was accompanied by the SSA on Private Education Institution Hon. Clement Daudu and the Director Science and Technology Mr. Ameh Moses.
