A former member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Taiwo Ojo Nathaniel, has been conferred with the distinguished title of Diplomatic Eminence Ambassador by the International Institute of Chartered Peace, Conflict, Climate Change and Technology Strategic Management (IICPCCCTSM), marking a new milestone in his illustrious career in public service, leadership, and community development.
The conferment ceremony, which featured the formal presentation of his appointment letter, officially ushered him into the league of global ambassadors committed to promoting peace, strategic governance, and sustainable development.
A member of the Governing Council of the Institute, Dr. David Onile said the Body conferred the Honour on the former Lawmaker after a review of his antecedents.
According to Dr. Onile, the former Lawmaker deserve the Award, saying the Institute is open to people of like minds and goodwill.
On his part, the State Coordinator of the Programme, Comrade John Oniwaiye described Mr. Nathaniel Ojo Taiwo as a Touch Bearer and Philanthropist per excellence, whose legacies have continued to stand the test of time.
Comrade Oniwaiye noted that as a well respected Leader in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area, he has continued to impact lives positively.
The President of Bunu Development Association, Pastor Johnson Kolawole congratulated the former Local Government Chairman on the honour, urging him to be good Ambassador of Bunu Kingdom.
In addition, Hon. Nathaniel also successfully completed a Professional Certificate Programme in Criminology and Cyber Security, further reinforcing his capacity in contemporary security and governance dynamics.
As part of the honours bestowed upon him, he was presented with a special award by the Institute in recognition of his exceptional contributions to society.

He later served as Caretaker Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area before being elected Executive Chairman, a position in which he recorded remarkable achievements, including the execution of over one hundred developmental projects that significantly improved the lives of the people.
His commitment to service saw him elected as the member representing Kabba/Bunu Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015. During his tenure, he served as Chairman of the House Committee on Education, where he championed transformative policies aimed at strengthening the education sector and advancing human capital development.
