Hon. Abdullahi Nuhu has commended the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ododo, and his Deputy, Comrade Joel Oyibo, for their unwavering commitment, strategic leadership, and people-oriented governance that continue to uplift the lives of citizens across the state, particularly in Igala Land.

In a strongly worded political statement, Hon. Nuhu lauded the administration’s proactive governance approach, describing it as a “beacon of responsive leadership and democratic dividends.”

He emphasized that the Ododo–Oyibo administration has demonstrated political will, administrative competence, and a clear blueprint for sustainable development and security stabilization in Kogi State.

Furthermore, he extended his profound appreciation to Hon. Alfa Muhammad Agbodu for his exemplary leadership, grassroots mobilization, and steadfast support in addressing the prevailing security challenges in Kogi East. He noted that Hon. Agbodu’s commitment reflects true statesmanship and a deep sense of responsibility toward safeguarding the region.

In the spirit of the festive season, Hon. Abdullahi Nuhu warmly extends his heartfelt Sallah greetings to Hon. Alfa Muhammad Agbodu, praying that this sacred celebration brings renewed strength, divine guidance, and continued success in his service to the people.

He also extends his warmest Sallah greetings to all leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly in Ofu Local Government and across Kogi State. He wished them long life, prosperity, unity, and sustained political relevance, urging them to continue to uphold the ideals of the party and work collectively for the progress of the state.

Hon. Abdullahi Nuhu further urged all leaders and citizens to embrace the values of sacrifice, unity, and compassion that define the Sallah season.

He also used the medium to call on all political stakeholders, party leaders, and power brokers within the state to uphold the principles of loyalty, inclusiveness, and political accountability. He urged them to remain faithful to the people, prioritize collective interest over personal ambition, and ensure that the voices of the grassroots are adequately represented in the political process.

He stressed that sustainable political development can only be achieved through unity of purpose, transparent leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the social contract between leaders and the electorate.

“Now is the time for consolidation, not division. The people must be carried along in every policy formulation and political decision-making process. Inclusive governance is the hallmark of true democracy,” he concluded.
