The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, has extended his warmest congratulations to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Benin-Owena River Basin Development Authority (BORBDA), Hon. (Dr.) Femi Adekanbi, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Hon. Meseko described the celebrant as a “visionary leader, a seasoned administrator, and a pillar of the progressive movement” whose impact in public service has been both profound and transformative.

Hon. Meseko lauded Hon. Adekanbi’s exceptional performance since assuming leadership at BORBDA. He noted that the Managing Director’s “100-day milestone” and subsequent initiatives—including the commissioning of vital solar-powered water projects, agricultural expansion in maize and cassava, and the revitalization of rural infrastructure—stand as a testament to his dedication to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.

“Hon. Femi Adekanbi is a man of remarkable character whose leadership at the Benin-Owena River Basin Development Authority has brought a new lease of life to the agency,” the statement read. “His commitment to food security, sustainable water management, and the empowerment of host communities is not only commendable but serves as a blueprint for excellence in public office.”

Beyond his professional achievements, the APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary praised Hon. Adekanbi for his unwavering loyalty to the party. He characterized the BORBDA boss as a grassroots mobilizer and a strategic thinker who has consistently worked toward the unity and growth of the APC at both the state and national levels.

Hon. Meseko joined family, friends, and political associates in praying for the celebrant’s continued well-being.

“On this special day, I pray that the Almighty grants you many more years of sound health, divine wisdom, and the strength to continue your invaluable service to our nation. May your path remain illuminated as you strive to better the lives of our people,” Meseko concluded.
