No Single Agency Can Operate in Isolation – Kogi Police Commissioner

The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Command, CP Naziru Bello Kankarofi, says the command remains resolute in fostering strong inter-agency partnerships, enhancing operational coordination, and promoting a united front in the pursuit of peace, stability, and security across the state.

He said no single agency can operate in isolation in the collective responsibility of safeguarding lives, property, and critical government assets.

CP Kankarofi made this known when he received members of the Association of Federal Heads of Services, Kogi State Chapter, on a courtesy visit to the Command Headquarters, Lokoja.

He emphasized the importance of synergy among federal agencies, noting that effective collaboration, intelligence sharing, and mutual support remain critical to addressing emerging security challenges.

The Commissioner of Police further assured the Association of the Command’s commitment to professionalism, proactive policing, and continuous engagement with sister agencies to ensure a safe and secure environment for public service delivery and socio-economic activities within the State.

According to a statement by the Command spokesperson, ASP Saliu Oyiza Afusat, the Association commended the Kogi State Police Command for its sustained efforts in maintaining law and order across the state and reaffirmed its readiness to support initiatives aimed at strengthening security and inter-agency cooperation among federal institutions operating within Kogi State.
