Second Year Anniversary; Wemi Jones Describes Ododo’s Second Year in Office as Impactful

Kogi State Commissioner for Education Hon. Wemi Jones has described the two years in office of the Executive Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as impactful and quality service delivery to the people of the State.

In a felicitation message to commemorate the second year in office of the Governor, the Commissioner noted that the two years in office witnessed the consolidation of the trajectory laid down in the education sector by the immediate Predecessor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.

He stated that the State Ministry of Education identified with the administration numerous achievements especially in the education sector, noting that the continuous allocation of 30% of the State Budget to Education Sector, the payment of WAEC, JAMB, MOCK, BECE, Basic Six and Common Entrance Examinations Fees for Pupils and Students in Public Schools in the State, the restoration of Bursary Allowance to students of the State in higher Institutions across the Country, the full accreditation of courses in all the state owned Tertiary Educational Institutions, sustainace of the students exchange program and many others numerous to mention have repositioned the State education sector to compete with global standards.

The Commissioner while congratulating the Governor on his two years of impactful service to the State, prayed to God to grant him wisdom as he pilots the affairs of the State to a higher Level.

He assured the Governor of the loyalty and support of the State Ministry of Education to the success of his administration.
