Four members of Okene/Ogori-Magongo federal constituency have expressed gratitude to the lawmaker representing the constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ozigi Muhammed Tijani (TAO), for assisting them secure employment in various paramilitary agencies.

Two of the beneficiaries were among the recently recruited personnel of the Nigeria Police Force, while the remaining two were enlisted into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

While expressing their appreciation during a Thank You visit to the lawmaker in Abuja on Monday, one of the beneficiaries recounted how he had been actively involved in politics for over a decade, serving under different leaders without ever getting such an opportunity until he met Hon. TAO, through whom his long-awaited dream finally came true.

Another beneficiary narrated how he had previously fallen victim to job scams but was grateful to the lawmaker for making his employment possible on a platter of gold.

In his response, Hon. Muhammad Tijani Ozigi congratulated the new officers and expressed gratitude to Almighty God, emphasizing that “it is God who offers help, and He chooses whomever He wishes to use at any time to deliver His message.” He noted that their previous encounters with others were not without purpose, but that “it simply wasn’t the right time, nor were those individuals the ones God had destined to assist you.”

The lawmaker further stated that, “I am happy that God used me as an instrument to deliver this blessing to you, and I pray that He continues to use me to do more for the people, especially within my constituency.”

He also admonished the beneficiaries to be of good conduct, urging them to serve their nation with dedication, integrity, and loyalty.
