Past President of Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Dr. Omede Idris, has announced the passing of his aunt, Mallama Ramatu Uyintoho Alhassan (nee Okpachi Odekina).
In a statement issued on his behalf by Yusuf Yakubu, the former Kogi State Commissioner of Health expressed sadness over his aunt’s demise.
Mallama Ramatu died in the early hours of Friday at Agbeji, Dekina local government.
She had since been buried at Odu Ofomu in line with Islamic rites.
She is survived by five children; Danjuma, Maimuna, Omaye, Mohammed and Isah and many grandchildren as well as great grand children. She is also survived by many relations Amongst whom are Ibrahim, Mohammed Ikani, Amina, Idris, Yahaya, Abdullahi, Alimo, Aku, Sule, Fatima, Abdul, Danjuma, Attai and many more relations.
May Allah grant her Aljanat Firdausi and console the entire family. Ameen.
