In an ongoing effort to build synergy and strengthen collective support for the administration of Governor Alhaji Usman Ododo, the Forum of Kogi East Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) has embarked on a series of high-level stakeholders engagement visits across Kogi State.

The most recent leg of the tour saw the Forum’s leadership visiting notable government functionaries in Lokoja, including: Hon. Onuh Edoka, Special Adviser to the Governor on Labour Matters; Hon. Monday Anyebe, Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development and Hon. Timothy Ojomah, Commissioner for Agriculture.

The delegation was led by the Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Isah Emmanuel Ojoduwene (Mario), and accompanied by other executive members, namely: Hon. Arome Ajodo Honourious, Hon. Felicia Jimaza, Hon. Promise Emmanuel (Kogi Rebel) – Public Relations Officer (PRO); Hon. Alhaji Alilu Yakubu; Hon. Mary Atebije and Hon. Emmanuel Maximilian Tashilani

The team formally introduced the Forum to the stakeholders and reaffirmed its commitment to contributing toward the success of the government and the party, particularly in strengthening grassroots mobilization, policy communication, and citizen engagement across Kogi East.

Hon. Isah Emmanuel Ojoduwene (Mario), Chairman of the Forum, emphasized the mission and political relevance of the visits.

“The crux of our visit is to deepen collaboration with critical stakeholders from Kogi East in order to strengthen the hold of our great party in the zone. We further seek to draw the attention of our people to the exemplary leadership of our principal, His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ododo, through the many innovative approaches to the welfare of our people,” he said.

Hon. Promise Emmanuel (Kogi Rebel), the Forum’s Public Relations Officer, highlighted the strategic function of the SSAs in bridging policy to the people.

“Our Forum stands as a unique structure — we are not just appointees; we are connectors. We interpret the policies of the government at the grassroots and return feedback upward. We believe in unity, collectivity, and proactiveness in delivering the dividends of democracy to our people,” Hon. Promise said.

During the engagements, the political leaders offered their support and pledged collaboration with the Forum.

Hon. Monday Anyebe assured the group of their inclusion in the upcoming Ministry of Youth Town Hall Meetings across the 21 Local Government Areas, citing the Forum’s credibility and reach.

Hon. Onuh Edoka expressed appreciation for the visit and pledged logistical and strategic support for the Forum’s activities.

Hon. Timothy Ojomah, Commissioner for Agriculture, promised to partner with Forum members in facilitating access to farming equipment and agricultural inputs for constituents at the grassroots.

Hon. Emmanuel Maximilian Tashilani further stressed the importance of collaboration between the Forum and government institutions.

“Senior Special Assistants serve as middle-level managers between the executive arm of government and the grassroots. We are in a prime position to interpret policy, relay feedback, and execute people-oriented initiatives. Collaboration is not optional — it is essential,” Hon. Tashilani stated.

He said the visit reinforces the Forum’s position as a strategic link between government leadership and the grassroots, furthering unity and collective political strength under the transformative leadership of Governor Ododo.
