43 Rescued Bus Passengers; Hon Matthew James Commends Okehi Local Security Agents

The Okehi Local Government secretary, Prince Matthew James Omeiza has commended the local security personnel over the recent feat recorded by rescuing 43 abducted victims who were kidnapped outside the state but rescued by security agencies in Okehi, Kogi state.

He commended the gallant men for the display of professionalism and bravery over the rescue of abducted bus passengers that were kidnapped earlier in the week.

He equally thanked his boss, the transition committee chairman of Okehi Local Government, Hon. Amoka Odu for his relentless efforts in making sure that the local government is well secured.

He restated his confidence in Hon. Amoka that he will continue to make the people of Okehi local government safe and secure.

Hon Mathew James appreciated Governor Usman Ododo for his continuous support for the security agents in Kogi state.

He said the governor has demonstrated zero tolerance for criminals and has matched words with action by equipping the security agents with the necessary support since his assumption of office.

He urged the people to continue to serve as the eyes of the government by giving timely intelligence information to the security and the government authorities in other to make Kogi state a crime free zone.

He reiterated that security is everyone’s business and as such all hands must be on deck.
