The Olayinka Braimoh Initiative has announced the initiation of a scholarship scheme for 100 students from Kabba Bunu local government of Kogi state in remembrance of the 30th memorial of Mrs. Margret Omonipo Braimoh.
Margret Omonipo Braimoh is mother of Otunba Olayinka Braimoh, the governorship candidate of Action Alliance (AA) in the 2023 Kogi state gubernatorial election.
Mrs. Margret Omonipo Braimoh, the pioneer female university graduate from Bunu District of Kabba/Bunu Local Government area of Kogi state, was a committed educator and a source of inspiration to many who valued the transformative influence of education. Her dedication to nurturing young minds and advocating for academic excellence remains a source of motivation for us.
According to a statement signed by the National Coordinator, Akudo Nwokorie and the State Coordinator, Kayode Adepele, the scholarship scheme underscores Olayinka Braimoh Initiatives’ dedication to empowering young intellects and investing in the future of the society.
“The scholarship scheme is crafted to offer educational support to underprivileged and disadvantaged students in the locality. Each scholarship will encompass tuition fees and associated educational costs, enabling beneficiaries to focus on their studies without the stress of financial concerns.
“This scholarship scheme serves as a tribute to her enduring legacy and unwavering commitment to education,” the statement read.
The statement extended invitation to the community to unite with with the initiative in honoring the legacy of Mrs. Margret Omonipo Braimoh and backing the educational aspirations of young scholars.
