Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the Shade Daviva presidential support group for Tinubu-Shettima has called on electorate in Kogi state to ensure they collect their permanent voters card (PVC).
The coordinator of the support group, Comrade Folashade Olobatoke, made the call in Lokoja on Monday.
She urged the electorate who registered during the last continuous voters registration of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to use the window opened by the commission from December 12 to collect their PVCs.
“I see a new Nigeria evolving as from 2023 with Tinubu-Shettima piloting the affairs of the nation.
“After a critical study of the party and candidate’s manifesto, I can confidently assure the youth, women and the aged of landing safe in the promise land of prosperity for the nation.
“However, collection of PVC is a sure way of getting your desired candidate rule the nation and deliver the much needed dividends of democracy.
“I am calling on all eligible votes across board, Kogi West in particular, to please go out and collect their voters card as from December 12, 2022 as announced by INEC,” she urged.
A statement signed by the group’s head of media and event organization, Hon. Sunny Aseda, said Shade Daviva campaign organization is the most active independent campaign council with members spread across the state.
Aseda announced that the group will organise town hall meetings to enable the campaign organization meet with voters across the state.
“Her template of town all meetings and other means of sensitization are approaching finishing touches and will soon be released for the public to keep a date.
“The essence of the forth coming town hall meetings is to sensitized the general public why APC should be voted for massively, following the track records of our party candidates.”
