2023 Senate Race: Coalition of Women Support Group Holds Rally, Vows to Mobilize for Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, a coalition of women support groups rooting for the senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has vowed to mobilize voters across Kogi Central senatorial district to ensure her victory.

The coalition of support groups led by Mrs. Maryam Umar Bello reiterated its support for the PDP senatorial candidate when it held a rally in Obeiba, Ihima, Okehi Local Government Area on Saturday.

The rally which was attended by PDP stakeholders, members of the Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Campaign Organization (NAUCO), and hundreds of indigenes of the community further affirmed the resolve of the people of Kogi Central to support the candidature of Barr. Natasha to drive a new narrative for the people of Kogi Central.

The spokesperson of the group, Mrs. Maryam Umar Bello said the coalition of women’s support groups will do everything possible to mobilize more support for Barr. Natasha because she knows the pains of women as a fellow woman and represents the ideal representative the people of Kogi Central have been missing in the Senate.

The group added that women cannot miss this golden opportunity not to support one of their own, adding that the PDP candidate will represent both men and women, young and old, and bridge the age-long poor representation of the people of Kogi Central in the Senate.
