Professor Kingsley Moghalu has being described as the best man to lead Nigeria out of the woods.
Kogi State Coordinator, Moghalu4Nigeria, Ajodo Lawrence Onuh made this known when the support group visited the largest local government in the state, Dekina, on Sunday.
Onuh said Moghalu4Nigeria is a grassroot movement that is determined to change the fortunes of Nigeria in 2023 through deliberate effort to choose leaders with proven capacity to lead the nation.
He stated that the decision to support the presidential aspiration of Prof. Moghalu is borne out of genuine desire to see Nigeria take its rightful place in the comity of nations, and ensure Nigerians live better lives.
He insisted that Moghalu towers above other aspirants given his intellectual and patriotic pedigree.
“After a roundtable meeting with coordinators of Moghalu4Nigeria from all 21 LGAs in Kogi State, we have embarked on direct mobilization and sensitization of the electorate ahead of the all-important 2023 presidential election.
“We are determined to reach every community in the state through door-to-door strategy and focused group engagements.
“Today, many Nigerians are not proud of their country because of leadership. The health sector is plagued with uncontrolled brain drain, residents live in fear due to escalating insecurity, electricity supply remains epileptic, roads in bad shape, unemployment rate is soaring and now, Nigeria has been declare poverty headquarters of the world.
“We cannot continue to sit on the fence and leave governance to opportunists. We must stand up and take deliberate steps to reverse the ugly trend.
“This is why we are approaching Nigerians, especially at the grassroot, to get involved and support the aspiration of a man who is ready and well equipped to make Nigeria better, Professor Kingsley Moghalu,” he said.
In their separate remarks, Mallam Bala Sani, a community leader; Jibril Zakari, a youth leader; and Safiyat Ismail, representing women, declared readiness to chart a new course politically. They said having tried politicians from the old order, it is time to for a paradigm shift.
