What better ways to describe Alhaji Ajaka’s philanthropic gestures, especially in his fatherland, Igala Land ? He is the shinning light in a real dark world of our politics. Despite the very real darkness in the world, there’s no shortage of people creating light and making a positive difference.
I love the metaphor of shining light in the darkness — because we all have the ability to seek the light and be the light.
Today, a visit to major towns and educational institutions in towns and cities across Kogi State, will validate the fact that Alhaji Ajaka is validating the ancient scroll that light is a symbol of holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, grace, hope.
In his determination to re-write the Igala leadership narratives, from his teeming capacity, he has been laying a solid foundation to define the next generation of not only Igala leaders and leadership but Kogi State and Nigeria at large . His focus has been on initiating people’s-oriented projects, programs and plans for the benefits of the people.
Murtala Ajaka has shown more courage than most of the political class. He opened his door to the ravaging communities. His ears and eyes are totally with the people.
In his own words; “the people first, the humanitarian response needs to be scaled up urgently”, this is to ensure people who remain in extremely precarious conditions have access to essentials, including food, healthcare, and shelter.
The man who is not able to develop and use his mind is bound to be the slave of the other man who uses his mind constantly plotting to pull Martala Ajaka down to gain cheap popularity. You and I will forever remain an obstacle to the liberation of Kogi State, if we chose to sell our conscience for a plate of porridge. If we chose to support darkness rather than epitome of light.
What shall it profit you and me if we choose to pull Muri out politics and lose the good things God Almighty has packaged him to deliver to us; wisdom is better than silver or gold. If you hate the people’s choice you hate yourself and your Maker as well. Self-hate is a form of mental slavery that results in poverty, ignorance, and crime.
I invite you, wholeheartedly, a leader that remind you of your highest self and emancipate you from mental slavery or false beliefs and illusions. The more you invest your time, energy and intellect in voting for a leader like Murtala Yakubu Ajaka that resonate with the frequency of your true self, the more light and in fact illuminations you will bring to yourself, family and community, Kogi State and the nation at large.
