Kogi state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party National Youth Movement, Amb. Ahmed Suleima (MAS) has called on the party organs and stakeholders to allow for a level playing ground for all the aspirants that have picked expression of interest and nomination forms for the forthcoming primaries.

Ahmed made the call while fielding questions from journalists after the group’s monthly state working committee meeting in Lokoja.

He reiterated since PDP is plotting to stage a come back to power, any arrangement that will anger members and aspirants should be avoided.

He added that a call for consensus is good idea but belated owing to the fact that aspirants have paid for intent and nomination forms already.

“If consensus idea is to be considered, it should have been done before the aspirants doles out their hard earned money to purchase forms. So, the best option is for the aspirants to go round and canvass for votes and wait for the party to conduct a free, fair and credible primary election, even if it means adopting option A4,” he said.

In addition, he urged the youth to aspire and conduct themselves properly.

“To show that, as youths, we are ready to take responsibilities as refined and cultured people, let’s take our chances. It is Youths O’Clock.”

Finally, he charged all to give the party all the needed support as the liberation movement kick start.
