A businessman and philanthropist, Idris Muhammed Amaga has said the Ankpa II House of Assembly candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Abbas Linco has what it takes to lead the lead constituency come 2023.
Amaga, in a statement personally signed on Friday, described Abbas as the most qualified candidate in recent time who has the qualities to lead the Ankpa II to the promised land.
According to him, “first and foremost, Hon. Abbas Linco has all it takes to lead his constituency to an enviable position with his connection with the local government.
“His father’s political antecedent is already working in his favour, while we are believing that the people of Ankpa II are aware of this. His articulate and resourceful nature is also a plus to him in his political journey which no other candidate can beat.
“It is on this that I am advising good people of Ankpa II to make the right choice in the coming general election in the interest of the country.
“I am wholeheartedly endorsing the bid of my friend and brother, Hon. Abbas Linco for the office of House of Assembly representing Ankpa II Constituency. I have taken a while to make this decision because the welfare and progress of the great people of my Ankpa II Constituency and Kogi State as a whole lie in the balance.
“I am a man who has poured his life into the pursuit of the overall best interests of my people. For many years, first as a philanthropist and then as a businessman.
“In the process, I have become intimately acquainted with the peculiarities of Ankpa II Constituency, the challenges of her people, and the perfidies of her politicians.”
