The situation in Ankpa II constituency is deplorable and calls for a radical approach to governance that will uplift the living standards of the people so pauperized by poor leadership.
Looking at the situation of Ankpa 2 and the current condition of the electorate, what the constituency needs now is a honest and courageous man who is filled with love, fear of God and dedicated to the deteriorating condition of the constituency and not money-bag politicians whose ties are either with parochial traditions or exuberant modernity and who are largely insensitive to the dynamic development under their noses.
It is sad that since democracy was restored in 1999 successive representatives to the State Assembly from the constituency had not executed any meaningful people oriented projects, citizens are so impoverished and are demanding for progressive leaders that will change the course of history.
Places like Enjema, Ojoku, Inye all these are historical towns in Ankpa II that should have grown to great heights, has witness over the years an excruciating slow pace of development, infrastructural development and attendance socio-economic development has been lopsided.
Ankpa II is no doubt one of the beautiful constituency in Kogi State but when it comes to development it could well be dubbed as backward. Things have not improve in last couple of years with many tall veterans political octopus and leaders from across the political spectrum of the constituency at the helms of the affairs, yet Ankpa 2 did not capitalized on their stature.
They neglected or failed to take any major initiative on developmental front that could have provided reliefs and succour to the people, when one visit the constituency one gets the clear picture of how Ankpa 2 has been ignored by the authorities and how its lagging behind on developmental front, Ankpa 2 has always face political neglect due to the woeful failure of the successive leaders to make strong, effective but constitutional demand on behalf of the good people of the constituency, till date the constituency has witnessed very little development in every fields, nothing substantial has been done at most of the schools in most communities in Ankpa II, to provide students with conducive study environment and proper infrastructure, adequate staff and decent lab equipment, the electric supplies to the area is erratic.
Honestly, the successive leaders or representative have failed to meet the aspirations of the people.The effects is felt as if the constituency has never had leaders as our political representatives, good roads, access to decent medical facilities, portable water, conducive study class room and environment for student are all practically what the constituency is crying for and are not in existent, those are not insurmountable short comings, but our elected representatives did not even move their little finger to address those issues of needed civic amenities. That is the bane of Ankpa II constituency.
On what makes Danjuma Musa Idris (Oando) the best candidate 2019. First and foremost, if you are a political leader you have to know that you represent the hopes, interest and the aspirations of members of your constituency.
Danjuma is an exceptional individual with a comparatively wide frame of mind and reference, he is a personality who is abundantly endowed with a natural sense of leadership. Musa Idris, having done a lot for his constituents from the fringes without any political influence his credentials and antecedents attest to the much he could do if given the opportunity as a major player to prove his mettle.

His life exhibits a rare commitment to giving to the society and helping to lift up the downtrodden, the wretched and many within and beyond his local government, a kind leader, an epitome of simplicity, a fine specimen of humility, friendliness, philanthropist, magnanimity, workaholics and he is one with the fear of God.
He is a man who believes that power to elect a leader rest with the electorate and that with power comes responsibilities and more than ever before; he makes realistic promises and not and he is a man of his words. Oando has high regards for morality, he drives joy in serving people, he believes that a fulfilling and meaningful life is created through service to others.
He is a man with qualities composed of values, beliefs, traits and skill all these make his people trust him. He has integrity and technically skills to face any challenge assignment, fiscal matters, policies, plans, projects and initiative solutions to problems, Idris Musa is experienced in social welfare.
The man has in the past accomplished numerous things for his people and community which are visibly reflecting in most community.
Danjuma Oando is the only man who can say to the government what people are thinking and saying in the loudest voice, a party loyal man that can attract development. If voted into power I strongly believe he will leave his constituency and life better for his people, as he aspire to represent his people, Oando has the ability to find and analyses problem in his constituency and will find the solution therapy to those multiferous problems.
