The youths of Kabba Bunu LGA have been asked to take their destinies in their hands, do the needful and vote rightfully in 2019.
John Oniwaye Olusegun, a frontline House of Assembly aspirant seeking to represent the people of Kabba-Bunu State Constituency in 2019 stated this at a press conference.
Mr John, while addressing the press at the Secretariat of the NUJ on Wednesday, said he is the alternative that the people have been waiting for.
He urged the people to rally round his aspiration, adding that his intention is a product of the peoples wishes and aspiration.
He urged the electorates to see his aspiration as a turning point from slavery to freedom, improvement in their political fortunes and an encouragement that as young people they too can aspire to their highest political feat without godfathers.
Mr John described 2019 as a defining moment when the best from constituency would converge in the hallowed chamber of the state assembly. He said it will take only the best to legislate for democracy dividends for the people of the area.
He pledged that women and youths will take the centre stage of his representation, if elected. He pointed out that for long these segments have been neglected, used and dumped.
He described his entrance into the race as a call from the people and promised to work for the collective good of Kabba Bunu state constituency.
