Ahead of the 2019 general elections, the Administrator of Okene Local Government, Engr. (Mall) Abdulrazaq Muhammad has inaugurated a 30-man campaign committee that will organise all campaign and electioneering activities in Okene Local government.
Addressing the committee members shortly after being inaugurated, the Administrator task them to work hard to justify the confidence repose in them by ensuring all resources and materials are judiciously utilised.
He enjoined them to focus more on issue based campaign by explaining to the public the rich qualities of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates, the party manifestoes and of course the good work of APC at all level.
He explained that, all aspirants had representatives in the committee as well as the local government party executives.
The campaign team is headed by a veteran politician and the Local Government Supervisor for Agriculture, Hon. Yahaya Musari (Teddy).
Engr. Abdulrazaq used the opportunity to assure party members that all party flagbearers will not only become victorious but will surely win with wide margins in Okene Local government.
He said, the Local Government will provide the campaign team with all the needed support but warned them to stay away from any form of crisis with other political parties in the course of their assignment.
