In the last few days, I have had to contend with calls and messages wanting me to clarify the status of the Kogi West APC senatorial ticket.
Specifically, it was alleged that a candidate has been given the ticket.
I have it on authority that the leader of the party in the state, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello has told those who care to listen that the party will provide level playing ground for all the aspirants.
I have known his excellency to be a man of honour and integrity who will not tamper with the processes leading to the emergence of a credible and God fearing Senator for Kogi West.
I urge all our teeming supporters to disregard this wicked rumour and remain focused.
