The membership of the group is based on indigenes with the desire for an egalitarian society with overall objectives of bringing concrete development to the people in the constituency.
According to Durojaiye Hassan, spokesman of the group; “Over the years, we have observed the tendency for quality candidates to shun politics at the peril of the people in terms of attracting more democratic benefits from the federal government. It is no wonder therefore that our area has hardly advanced in concrete development since the advent of the current democratic dispensation.
“As youths, we can no longer fold our arms and adopt the “siddon-look” approach and allow this to continue . The time has come for us to harness opportunities at the local, state and federal levels for the benefit of our people.
“It was Plato that said that “The heaviest penalty for declining to rule is to be ruled by someone inferior to yourself”. The time has come for us to improve the quality of our representation at all levels, the time has come for us to participate in deciding our future by ensuring that we have visionary, selfless and honest leaders who can improve the lives of our people.
“A careful scanning of notable personalities from the federal constituency leaves us no choice than Alhaji Isiaq Ajibola, a man who helped nuture a media company from nothing to one of the largest Newspapers in Nigeria today. His antecedent in community and human development engagements is unmatched and as a person, the group identifies with his personality, honesty, diligence, selflessness and philanthropic activities, particularly on the youths.
“He is a manager par excellence, professional and a nationally-recognized media executive. We can’t say enough about him now, but we strongly believe that he has the quality to lead us at any level. His antecedents speaks volumes about his capacity and capabilities.”
The group adviced youths to be wise and b refuse vehemently to sell their rights to undeserving people, and instead, align with quality representation since exercising their right to vote a credible candidate will determine their future.
