The House of Representatives candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Ankpa, Olamaboro and Omala federal constituency, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims has promised he will, if elected, facilitate budgetary provisions standard social amenities In Ankpa federal constituency as from 2019 and beyond.
Halims, who said this while addressing party members at Anyigba, venue of the APC zonal rally in Kogi East maintained that he is the only one with a track record of reliable antecedents among all the candidates and shall do even better if elected.
He noted that as a former House of Assembly member and water board chairman in the State, he possesses both the executive and legislative experience needed to attract dividends of democracy to the constituency.
Hon Halims who recently resigned from the position of “Elders Advisory Council” to enable him contest for Federal House of Representative promised that he would bring his experience to bare in his stewardship of the area when by the grace of God elected in 2019.
Speaking further, the APC Reps candidate pledged that if elected, he would facilitate budgetary provisions for education, health care, portable water and good roads in the federal constituency to a practical term that shall improve the standard of social amenities in the area.
Halims, while urging the people to also vote for all candidates of his party, assured the readiness of President Buhari to the development and provision of more opportunities for young people noting that of the almost two hundred million population of Nigerians, about sixty percent of them are youth.
True to his words, it can be recalled that Hon Halims was responsible for the facilitation and construction of an almost sixty kilometers Ojede road network in Ankpa during his tenure as a member of the Kogi state house of assembly and this feet remain unrivaled.
