Coalition of Youth Groups from the five wards of Lokoja II constituency on Sunday threw their weight behind the 2019 ambition of Hon Idris Ndako, member representing Lokoja II constituency.
Spokesman of the of the group, Alhaji Bashir Idris said the youths from the five wards of Lokoja II constituency decided to endorse Hon Idris Ndako for second term because of his “transformational, developmental projects and stability Lokoja II constituency “
Bashir said: “Since our decision in 2015 to demonstrably support the election of Prince Idris Ndako as Member representing Lokoja 11 Constituency, the developmental strides that has brought transformation in agriculture, peace and security, political stability and democratic sustainability, Lokoja 11 constituency is better for the decision taken some years back.
“It is on this premise again that the coalition of Lokoja || Constituency Youth has deemed it fit to embrace continuity, sustainability, development that is informed by genuineness of purpose and transformation with human face.”
Appealing to electorates from the area to support the Ndako’s second term endorsement, he said “our decision to support this genuine course was borne out of the programmes and policies for a greater tomorrow.
We support the unity, economic and political stability of Lokoja II Constituency and we are ready to work for its sustainability.”
Speaking further, he said “our endorsement is based on his achievements and on-going empowerment programme and projects as it touches the youths through his numerous youth empowerment programme.”
Responding, Hon Idris Ndako thanked the group for the visit and assured them of his readiness to continued his good work.
He said the challenges before him now is how to successfully completed the mandate given to him by the people: ” I want to thank you for the visit,what I needed from you now is prayers”, he said.
On the issue of his second term ,he explained further that he will made his intention know at the appropriate time, urging them to remain steadfast and committed to the ideals of togetherness
