A House of Representatives hopeful for Yagba Federal constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Edward Femi Olatunji has congratulated the people of Egbe in Yagba West for successfully hosting the annual Egbe Day.
In a statement from his media office, Olatunji said such gathering foster unity among the people.
Olatunji, the CEO of Lord Firm, tasked Yagba people to always promote unity which is a vehicle for transformation and prosperity.
He stated that there is a need for a strong Yagba Voice at the centre to address the poor state of the road in the area.
He called on the people of Yagba and all Kogites to keep supporting the administration of Alh. Yahaya Bello, assuring them that the administration means well for the development of the state.
“Our generation must rally behind the Governor to succeed to have a loud voice for our clamor for generational shift in leadership. Governor Yahaya Bello is the poster boy of youth in governance and his success is our success”, he said.
Olatunji expressed great confidence in the capacity of the Governor to turn the State around, calling on him to put palliatives in place on the roads in Yagba Federal Constituency while also thanking him for the ongoing road projects in Yagbaland.
He urged the youth to eschew violence and hate speeches and focus on empowerment and capacity building.
