The chief Imam of Isa kutepa central mosque Lokoja, Imam Yahaya Abubilat have called on Nigerians, especially Kogites, to stop disturbing themselves over the 2019 general elections “for as far as Allah is concerned the elections are over.”
Imam Abubilat said that Nigerians need not to worry over the elections that will becoming in some few days to come saying Allah gives high status, money, power, fame to whom He wishes and collect it from whom ever He wishes. He said it is all test of life.
The chief Imam, during an interview message titled ‘things to worry about’, said the palpable tension seen in the heart of people is giving so many a sleepless night.
“What is going to be is going to be, Allah has decided through divine means to give us leaders in this country,” he said.
According to him, Nigerians are only waiting for the set date of swearing-in for those Allah willed to be leaders to take the leadership oath.
“Allah has already elected his own people who will man the affairs of this country according to His plan, so we need to worry at all,” he added.
He further advised politicians and Nigerians to embrace politics of peace and unity that will chart a new course of the country, avoid creating political walls that will lead in having enemies at the detriment of the fragile peace and unity the country is enjoying.
He called on Nigerians to worry about seeking Allah’s favor, seeking to live a righteous life before God and man and to desire to get out of this evil world by making it to heaven.
“Allah want us to totally repent avoid and run away from sin and saying no to unclean life style, totally surrendering our life to him as our maker and saviour.”
