Leaderships of the All Progressives Congress were not concerned about the crises rocking most of APC control state. Base on this crises Ex-President Olusegun Obasonjo clamour for third forces. If APC National Working Committee failed to speed up its reconciliation process before March this year, hmmm! The results will be deadly.
Almost three years as the ruling party and less than two years to the 2019 elections, the APC had not resolveda single crisis rocking the state chapter of the party, states like Gombe, River, Bauchi, Ondo, Kogi, Kaduna, Kano, Niger, Plateau, Ogun and Kastina.
The crisis rocking Gombe State chapter since the 2015 governorship election was not yet resolve. The state chapter of the party has been in turmoil since the party lost the governorship election to the PDP in 2015. Trouble began during the 2015 primary election. The party broke into two factions with one led by Magaji Doho and the other by Karu Ishaya.
In Bauchi State, the relationship between the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, and other Abuja-based political office holders from the state on one hand, and Governor Mohammed Abubakar was not cordial.
In Ondo State, the crisis, which led to the election of Rotimi Akeredolu, as the governor of the state has not been resolved. The pre-election crisis which made a leader of the party, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, to demand the resignation of the party’s national chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun has worsened.
The battle for the control of the soul of the APC in Kogi State has pitted some party members against Governor Yahaya Bello.
This is my problem with the leaderships of APC and the leader of the party president Muhammadu Buhari, is only where there is no more sense, knowledge and wisdom crisis continue to go unabated. This is how PDP start and finally CRUMBLE to death and now gradually resurfacing due to some selfish interest in APC National Working Committee members.
