As Nigeria joins the rest of the world to usher in new year, 2019, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate of Ijumu Constituency for Kogi State House of Assembly in March general elections, Ambassador Kilani Olushola Olumo has charged the people of the state to go into the new year with a renewed hope in the ability of the All Progressives Congress to deliver on its promises of taking the state to the next level of better lives to the people of the state.
In his new year message, Ambassador Kilani Olumo said that the new year would be a pivotal in the quest of APC to take the state to the next level of socio- economic and infrastructural development through their quality choice of voting for all APC candidates in the state in February and March general elections.
In a message titled ‘A new hope of next level for Kogi State’, he said, “the preceding year was dogged with some challenges, the determination of the state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello to surmount them and deliver on his electoral promises is strong and unshaken. I am of the strong conviction that 2019 will usher in unprecedented developments in all spheres of life in the state.”
Describing 2019 as a very crucial year for the people of the Ijumu in particular and Kogi State in general, he urged them to vote wisely by voting for all the All Progressives Congress candidates in the state.
He commended the Administrator of İjumu Local Government Area, Alhaji (Dr) Taofiq İsa and the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for being good and worthy ambassadors of APC in the state.
Ambassador Kilani called on the people of İjumu, especially the youth, to shun violence and be good ambassadors of their fatherland, stressing that they should strive at all times to embrace peace and hard work to which İjumu people are known for and promised to give priority to education, youth empowerment and to fast track the growth and development of the area if given the mandate to represent the people of İjumu in the Kogi State House of Assembly.
While wishing the people of the State a blessed,happy and prosperous New Year, he reminded them of the need to always pray for a peaceful election,he called on the people of İjumu to vote for him and assured them of qualitative representation.
