Constant supervision of on–going projects in Kogi State by the present Government is aimed at ensuring quality delivery of completed projects.
The Kogi State Governor Capt. Idris Wada stated this during the inspection of some on–going projects in the State capital.
Towards the preparation of the one year anniversary of the present administration in the State,the
Governor who spoke through his Deputy, Yomi Awoniyi, said he was directed to monitor all on – going projects towards fast tracking their delivery before the celebration of the administration’s One Year in office.
The State Governor maintained that he is impressed with the pace, quality and work done at the second phase of the State Secretariat Complex, Confluence Stadium and on the on–going road construction to Mounti Patti.
The Governor however urged the contractor handling the Confluence Beach Hotel extension to double his efforts at completion and to ensure quality job delivery.
The Governor explained that the inspection of the projects underscores the high premium placed by the present administration on standard and value for money,assured that it is a policy that will be sustained throughout the
tenure of the present administration.
Capt. Wada assured that all inherited projects by his administration will not be abandoned while those initiated by the present administration would be completed on schedule.
