“Our long and rich history exists far beyond 3 decades. This region birthed Nigeria: An amalgamation of different people and cultures. It is this shared history that has kept us in harmony; our diverse cultures found a meeting point, indeed, a confluence, that allowed us to co-exist side by side, growing together as brothers and sisters,” she stated.

Speaking further, the Executive Chairman urged citizens to continue to strive for peace and unity, and gave praise to Governor Yahaya Bello whose detribalised leadership further strengthened relations among the people. She expressed hope that the unity in diversity fostered and maintained in Kogi will be continued by the potential incoming government of Alhaji Ahmed Usman-Ododo should he win the governorship election come November 2023.
