A socio-political group, Kogi Patriotic Front (KPF) has concluded arrangement in protest against fresh case brought before Federal High Court by Air Marshal Isaac Alfa (rtd) on the highly contentious Kogi East senate seat.
In a statement released signed by Abdulhamid Nuhu, the group described the action of Alfa against Senator Atai Aidoko Ali as ungentlemanly, unpatriotic and against the progress of the people of Kogi east and the Igala race.
Nuhu said it the “unrepentant stand” of Alfa is a plot against the entire Igala race built on the testaments of individualistic and parochial interest.
He urged the electorate and the people not to support Alfa’s destructive course but rather resolve to rally round Aidoko to ensure maximum provision of dividends of democracy to the people of the area.
He described Atai Aidoko Ali as a silent achiever who is not given to vain publicity.
