Yuletide: ‘Keep Faith That Nigeria Will be Great Again’ – SDP National Chairman, Dr Sadiq Gombe

The Acting National Chairman of Social Democratic Party (SDP), Dr. Sadiq Umar Abubakar Gombe, has called on Nigerians to keep the faith that the county will be great again.

In a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Araba Rufus Aiyenigba, SDP assured that national redemption is on the way.

The SDP National Chairman felicitated with Christians for the Christmas season and wished all Nigerians a happy and prosperous new year in advance.

Dr. Abubakar Gombe noted that, the times are undeniably hard and citizens are contending with mounting pressures from many fronts, on account of the prevailing harsh economic situation and pervasive national despair arising from insecurity across the nation, he said, nonetheless, there is need for continued prayers and faith in God Almighty for a reign of peace across the nation, and the revatilization of the nation’s economy for the well-being of citizens.

He assured all SDP faithful and loyalists across the country, that their darling Party is in very good shape, and is strongly undergoing restrenghtening, recalibration and repositioning, and is set to enter the new year, with new spirit, renewed vigour and total commitment to sustainable growth, development, and progress.

Dr. Gombe assured members and supporters of the Party that the national leadership of the SDP, under his watch, will not take their commitment and loyalty to the party for granted. He promised that as the national leader of the Party, he is deeply committed to ensuring that members of the National Working Committee (NWC) are working unitedly and the leadership structures at the sub-national, are been greatly mobilized and galvanized, and they will all continue to serve with all sense of duty, humility, and respect, and will stay true to the interest of the Party.

While calling on all Nigerians to continue to believe in Nigeria, to play their civic roles well and support the authorities, Dr. Abubakar Gombe prayed for national unity and the requisite wisdom for President Tinubu to be able to lead the nation with the needed legacy-consciousness.

He enjoined the peoples’ representatives at the National Assembly and all political appointees and leaders in various positions of leadership, to commit more to social justice, and work towards mass economic empowerment to enhance human dignity and to make life truly meaningful for Nigerian masses, so that we can have a good Nigerian society for all.
