The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Labour Matters, Comrade Onuh Edoka says Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo will continue to spring surprises in terms of addressing the wellbeing of the masses.
Comrade Edoka made this known while reacting to the early payment of salaries to workers ahead of the Christmas celebration.
He noted that the payment by the government on the fourteenth of December was again, to demonstrate his love for the workforce which he noted is second to none.
The Special Adviser described the Governor as a compassionate leader who leads with the milk of human kindness.
Comrade Edoka commended the Governor for improving on exemplary leadership through strategic planning and policy execution devoid of ethnicity, religious, or political consideration.
According to the Special Adviser, the Governor believes in One Kogi State and equal opportunity for all, hence his policies and programmes are all encompassing.
Comrade Edoka urged the workers to reciprocate the gesture through renewed commitment to duty, stressing that government is desirous of accelerated growth and development in all its ramifications.
He assured that the present administration will not toy with the welfare of workers and remian a pace setter as demonstrated through the immediate approval and payment of the new national minimum wage.
Recall that the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC in Nigeria had recently commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for being the first to implement the minimum wage having x-rayed the indices and criteria which earned the State the rating.
