Former Governor of Kogi State and APC stalwart, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has issued a unifying and politically charged call for cohesion, disciplined leadership, and strategic communication in Ebiraland, stressing that peace and collective purpose remain the strongest pillars for political relevance and development.

Speaking at the 40th Fidau prayer of the late Senator Isah Abonyi Obaro, Yahaya Bello urged traditional rulers, politicians, elites, youths, and stakeholders in Kogi Central to close ranks and work as one, warning that internal divisions only weaken the bargaining power and future of Ebiraland. He emphasized that leadership unity is non-negotiable if the area must speak with one voice and command respect within Kogi State and Nigeria.

He called for the deliberate teaching of a positive and unifying history to the younger generation, noting that a people grounded in their true history of cooperation and harmony are better positioned to reject conflict and embrace shared destiny.

Yahaya Bello underscored that strategic communication is a great asset, cautioning against misinformation and reckless use of social media. He urged the people to deploy the internet responsibly for mobilisation, enlightenment, economic empowerment, and the promotion of peace.

Reaffirming his political position, he declared total support for Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, calling for prayers, loyalty, and collective backing to ensure the success of his administration. On the national front, he reaffirmed his unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, expressing confidence in his leadership and continuity and insisting that the opposition stands no chance.

He further encouraged party faithfuls to actively participate in the APC ongoing e-registration exercise as a strategic step to strengthen the party at the grassroots.

Yahaya Bello concluded with prayers for all leaders, urging Ebiras everywhere to maintain healthy relationships and uphold unity, harmony, and responsible leadership values embodied by the late Senator Isah Abonyi Obaro, whose legacy of peace and bridge-building he described as worthy of emulation.
