Former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has extended warm felicitations to the Governor of Imo State, Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum and Renewed Hope Ambassador, Senator Hope Uzodinma, as he marks his 67th birthday.
Bello described Governor Uzodinma as a courageous statesman, visionary leader, and consummate democrat who has continued to steer Imo State toward economic expansion, infrastructural transformation, and social stability.
He noted that Uzodinma’s commitment to good governance and his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) have distinguished him as one of the most dependable pillars of the ruling party, and a nationalist whose voice commands respect in the nation’s political landscape.
In a statement signed by the former governor and made available to journalists by the Director of his media office, Ohiare Michael, Bello further applauded Governor Uzodinma’s outstanding contributions as Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, where his strategic leadership, consensus-building capacity, and deep understanding of national issues have continued to shape the trajectory of democratic consolidation and intergovernmental cooperation in Nigeria.
Governor Bello joined the government and people of Imo State, as well as the family, friends, associates, and well-wishers of Governor Uzodinma, in celebrating a leader whose journey reflects resilience, purpose, political dexterity, and unbroken dedication to public service. He described the celebrant’s life as one marked by milestones of accomplishment, patriotic leadership, and commitment to the growth and advancement of the great Imo State.
He prayed that God grants Governor Uzodinma many more years of progressive stewardship, sound health, divine wisdom, and productive leadership for the overall interest of the people.
