A formidable youth group of Yagba extraction, Yagba Youth Elite Club (YYEC), on Sunday paid a solidarity visit to the House of Representatives Leading aspirant, Yagba Federal Constituency, under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Cmdr Michael Folusho Daniel (MFD), and re-assured him of their unflinching support both at PDP Primary and in the 2019 general elections.
The youth group, is the foremost youth association in Yagba land, mostly comprised of vibrant educated and knowledgeable youths with high level of exposure and commitment to the empowerment youths across Yagbaland.
The group Coordinator, Mr Adetunji Oloruntoba, during the visit at MFD’s residence in Lokoja, expressed his delight for the reception given to them by MFD, and the great opportunity democracy has offered to elect a man who has passion for youths and women developments.
Oloruntoba further expressed the group’s confidence in the capacity, character, experience and pedigree of MFD, looking at his past legacies and antecedents in terms of legislation, project executions, employments for jobless youths, among others.
The coordinator assured the workaholic aspirant of their total support for his victory both at the primary and in the 2019 general elections, having heard seen, and witnessed the good deeds and great antecedents in human capacity building and development that he had invested in people over the years.
Other members of the group in their separate comments, eulogised the retired general and the former Lawmaker for his unmatched achievements, when he represented the people of Mopamuro in Kogi State House of Assembly.
The youths expressed their confidence on MFD for his purposeful leadership and people oriented projects, which they believed he would also bring to bare at the Green Chamber in the National Assembly, while reaffirming their commitment to pitch their tent with him.
They also expressed optimism that Folusho Daniel would provide quality leadership and good representation, if given the mandate, promising to use their networks at various wards across Yagba land to deliver the divine mandate.
In his response, MFD appreciated the group’s passionate love, support and zest towards his divine mandate project, that he was highly overwhelmed with the support received from youths describing it as a good step in the right direction.
MFD gave a brief background of himself and as well spelt out his agenda for the good people of Yagba Federal constituency, saying, “If you want to survive for a year, plant maize, if you want to survive for ten years, plant cocoa, coffee or cashew but if you want to survive for hundred years, invest in human capacity”.
MFD, popular called “Mr Project”, due to his past achievements, further reassured the good people of Yagba of his plan to leverage on his connections and exposures to bring about good dividends of democracy to Yagba constituency.
Mr project also appreciated the group for finding him worthy of their support and expressed his hope in the group’s commitment to continue to mobilize support for him towards the actualisation of the divine aspiration.
