Yagba East Group Thanks Gov Bello, Makes Case for Inclusive Government

A group of All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders from Yagba East local government have expressed gratitude to Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello for appointing two of their illustrious sons as Senior Special Assistants.

Former Administrator of Yagba East local government council, Alhaji Abdulrazak Ijagbemi was recently appointed as a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters (Yagba federal constituency) while Mallam Sule Abdulwakil Olorunjuwon was appointed Senior Special Assistant on Security Matters.

The Coordinator of the group, Chief J. O. Yusuf, expressed gratitude to the Governor for his magnanimity in appointing the immediate past illustrious sons on Yagba East into his government.

He said the group is satisfied with the choice of Mallam Abdulwakil Sule as the SSA Security, describing the appointment as very appropriate.

He said it is an opportunity for the youths to develop their leadership qualities, using the local government as a pedestal to launch into the larger political setting.

Chief J. O. Yusuf admonished the newly appointed SSAs to close ranks and work together to form a formidable team for the administration of the local government in the overall interest of the people.

He charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by the Governor by ensuring there is improved security, peace and progress in Yagba East.

Finally, he advised them to consult widely among the party members, stakeholders and even non party members in their decision making process to carry the people along in the art of governance at every point in time so as to strengthen the party and make it formidable in the local government.
