The Kogi State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Bolanle Amupitan has congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello and Chief Edward Onoja, on their victory at the just concluded governorship election in the state.
Amupitan described their triumph as a well deserved victory and the true reflection of the ‘will’ of the good people of Kogi State.
”On behalf of myself and the entire staff of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, I write to congratulate his Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and Chief Edward Onoja on their well deserved victory.
”The victory is surely a collective one as inspired by your leadership style; hence, it was not a surprise when the verdict was finally made public and official.
”The positive and progressive effect of your commitment to the plight of women, youth, elderly, children and people with disability is monumental, unprecedented and historical.
”The least we can do therefore, is to at this historical moment join millions of well wishers to appreciate divinity in your political journey so far, and pray that you shall leap from yet this political achievement to even more and greater heights,” Amupitan said.
The commissioner also commended the entire GYB team for their unity and collective efforts, and for working tirelessly in ensuring a resounding victory for their party, APC.
”We cannot but also sing the accolade of the entire team that worked tirelessly to bring this victory into fruition. God bless Kogi state,” she prayed.
