Contractors handling the Kogi State 500-unit bond housing estate have been urged to hasten work to ensure early completion.
Kogi State Governor Idris Wada made the call yesterday while inspecting work on the site.
Wada, who was represented by his deputy, Yomi Awoniyi, urged the contractors to justify government’s huge investment in the project.
He commended the quality of work so far carried out by the contractors, calling for more commitment.
He assured those who lost their property to the project not to entertain any fear, adding that compensation will be paid as soon as the issues of verification and computation are addressed.
