Wada Urges Dissatisfied PDP Members in Kabba-Bunu-Ijumu to Withdraw Cases from Court

Kogi State Governor Capt Idris Wada has made overtures to those that had differences with the last Peoples Democratic Party congress in Kabba/Bunu – Ijumu Federal Constituency to consider winding up all court processes.

The State Governor represented by his Deputy,Yomi Awoniyi, stated this at a PDP stakeholders forum aimed at creating unity and ensuring the resolution of political differences for  Kabba/Bunu – Ijumu Federal Constituency.

The Governor called on those aggrieved to explore the party’s machinery at resolving issues, urged for the withdrawal of all court cases to enable the collective negotiation of the peoples aspiration.

The Governor appealed to politicians to always strive for honest political competition where due process will be followed, explaining that court cases shuts doors to dialogue and accommodation.

Wada urged politicians to imbibe the doctrine of been grateful when blessed, to over look when cheated, patient when denied and forgive when offended, adding that in politics there is no victory or defeat that is permanent.

He also eschewed politicians from the constituency to see politics as service oriented, urged them to also establish a tripod with other senatorial district in moving the state forward.

A 12 man committee to strengthen and unite the party by the Governor was put in place.

In their separate speech,various speakers from the constituency stressed the need for a united PDP, promising to work for the interest of the party.
