The commissioner nominees that were screened last week by the Kogi State House of Assembly were sworn in today at the Lokoja township stadium.
The swearing in ceremony that was scheduled to start at 10am was delayed till after 1pm due to the late arrival of the governor.
Shortly after the governor’s arrival, the Secretary to State Government, Professor Jegede co-ordinated the swearing process first for the commissioners followed by the special advisers.
The special advisers were instructed to report at the SSG’s office for further documentations and to know their portfolios.
