After studying the processes that usually lead to the ascension to the throne of the Attah Igala and some of the infringements that were encountered before the ascension of the incumbent Attah Igala, H.R.M. Michael Ameh Oboni II, the governor of Kogi State, Capt Idris Wada quickly set up a committee of imminent Igala Traditional Ruling Council members to look into the past and correct the processes when necessary.
Within the stipulated period, the committee submitted their report to the governor, on Tuesday, for onward implementation.
The governor thanked the members of the committee for their diligence, determination and commitment for assiduously putting their report within the short time. He said the aim and objective of the report will be vigorously pursuit for the interest of the people.
