Special Adviser to Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State, on Media and strategy, Jacob Edi has said  that the governor is  focused on developing the state than listening to pettiness.

Edi who stated this yesterday while reacting to reports that Governor Wada has more cases to answer at the court, said Wada is addicted to victory as he had won all the cases against him.

He said despite the Supreme Court ruling on January 22, 2014 that Capt Idris Wada’s election on December 3, 2012 was in order bringing the matter to a close, some faceless persons are saying Wada has more court cases to answer.

The special adviser said “for two years we have been facing this struggle but I can say confidently that we are addicted to victory, there is no time we lost any case and there is no time our traducers’ won one motion.”

He added that the public should not be misled by the story in the papers as the claim in the papers were petty and pedestal because the government got very supreme judgment from the Supreme Court.

Edi said the real people of Kogi State are fully aware  that the government has good plans for the people, if not being distracted by rumour peddlers, explaining that  outsiders who would not see anything good in Kogi are those constantly throwing spanners in the wheel of progress of the state.
