VP Shettima Leads Condolence Delegation to Kogi, Commiserates with Gov Ododo

Vice President Kashim Shettima says Alhaji Momoh Sani Ododo’s life of service to God and humanity continues to reflect in the leadership qualities of his son, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

He made this known when he led a high-powered federal delegation to Kogi to condole with Gov Ododo, over the passing of his father, Alh. Ahmed Momohsani Ododo on Wednesday.

Speaking with newsmen, Shettima described the late Alhaji Momoh Sani Ododo as a man of deep faith and remarkable humility.

He stressed that the visit highlighted the significance of the late Alhaji Ododo’s legacy and the esteem in which he was held by both the federal government and the people of Kogi.

Shettima urged the governor and his family to find solace in the fact that their father lived a fulfilled life, leaving behind enduring legacies of discipline, truthfulness and compassion.

Upon arrival in Okene, the vice president was warmly received by the state Deputy Governor, Mr Joel Salifu and other high-ranking officials.

The governor expressed profound appreciation to the Vice President for the personal visit, despite his tight schedule.

Ododo noted that the gesture demonstrated the vice president’s commitment to the values of unity and compassion.

Shettima was accompanied by Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State.
