Voice of Mopamuro Youths (VOMY) has congratulated the Onikeji, Ikeji community and good people of Mopamuro over the grading of the traditional stool.
Kogi State Government graded the stool of Oba Ikeji of Mopa, in Mopamuro local government to 3rd class status with effect from 26th September, 2023.
A statement signed by the leader of VOMY, J. O. Abel-Ontop, said the appointment of HRH, Oba Faromoh Oloruntoba Reuben as the Onikeji of Ikeji-Mopa as well as grading stands as a testament to the importance and significance of the Ikeji community in the history of Mopa, Mopamuro, and Kogi state traditional council at large.
“VOMY is elated because we are sure this grading will enable other traditional stool within Mopamuro, Kogi State and Nigeria work with the Onikeji more seamlessly to enable Mopamuro achieve the due development it deserves.
“We also appreciate Kogi State Government under Governor Yahaya Bello for finding the Onikeji worthy of this grading,” he said.
