A suspected cattle rustler identified as Suleiman Isah, has been arrested by the men of the Kogi State Vigilante Service (KSVS) in Omala local government area of the state.
The service’s spokesperson, S. O. Saka, disclosed this in a statement.
He said the suspected cattle rustler, Suleiman Isah, was apprehended on Sunday at the Dekina-Omala border, Ikpoba in Omala LGA.
According to the statement, upon interrogation, the suspect identified his alleged accomplice and boss, Sumaila, who resides in Anyigba.
Acting on this intelligence, operatives of the Kogi State Vigilante Service (KSVS), Anyigba Command, swiftly arrested Sumaila.
Both suspects, along with the recovered exhibits, have been handed over to the Nigeria Police, Omala Division, for further investigation and necessary legal actions.
Kogi State Vigilante Service appreciated the cooperation of the local community and reaffirmed their commitment to tackling crime in the state.
