The aggrieved parties who queried the recently concluded screening exercise under the supervision of its Chairman Okala urged governor bello to pay it’s members eight months salaries which the present administration is owning them.

The protesting workers carried placard with some inscription our colleagues on overseas training have wives and children like you,  pay them their eight months salaries, public service is not your private enterprise, pay your workers their eight months salaries, and tertiary institution cannot do without contract salaries.

They further accused governor bello of not being transparent in his administration of leadership adding that they are not ghost workers as portrayed by the recent concluded screening exercise.

Stating that they are genuine workers employed in accordance to the civil service rule, they noted that, they non payment of salaries has caused more pains in their lives as they barely feed one square meal a day while their counterparts in other institutions both home and abroad enjoys huge benefits from their principals.

Admonishing Governor Bello to pay all their outstanding salaries for the interest of peace in the institution, they maintained that, they will continue their protest until their demands are met.
