Leadership is both a research and practical skill encompassing the ability of an individual to lead other individuals or entire organization, therefore the capacity to lead is not just by word but by actions.
Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye in recent time has shown a status of good leader by actions worthy of emulations. He didn’t allow his leadership power to demarcate between him and his people but instead he is determined by his distinctive dispositional character.
Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye from his great mind of reasoning has put leadership into practice by making the good people of Ijumu local govt of Kogi state is number one priority, reaching out to as many as possible through his empowerment programs, humanistic needs, visionary perspective, and ability to inspire.
He is not lacking behind in the House of Assembly by ensuring he protects the interest of Kogi state citizens at large, especially his view about the just concluded workers screening and verification, where he stood his ground to defend the interest of the workers at large. Without neglecting his role in the House of Assembly, he is at the very end of presenting to the public a government that is concentrated, determined and focused to address the menace of fulani herdsmen in Ijumu local govt area of Kogi state, laying more emphasis on some of the acts portrayed by them and how their dangerous activities has affected the people mostly their threat to life and properties.
Also, he has created an avenue to interact with his people, in order to work closely and address more of the hitches that still affects them and being determined to continue at the verge of making things right.
Some of his other achievements include a life changing entrepreneur program, reaching out to majority of the women in his constituency by involving them in vocational skills and as a way of encouragement he also gave working materials after the acquisition program, also not forgetting to procure items to empower the youths and women.
He did not also forget the fact that knowledge is power, by improving the educational system of his constituency, giving out items to the public schools, borehole drilling project is not under estimated by him, since he believes “water is life”, therefore using that medium to make life easier for them. All these are to mention few of his true leadership actions.
He is a man of his word and ever ready to help at every chance he got. To be honest he has really proved that leadership is by action and not just by word.
