Little has been heard about the workaholic, committed and talented Auditor-General of Local Government in Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo in the administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
This is perhaps Usman Ododo, who is the brain behind the transparent running of the local government system, works silently but result oriented.
Away from his professional competency, commitment to work and loyalty to his boss, Usman Ododo is a philanthropist par excellence who gives back to the society with less noise.
With little at his disposal, Ododo embarked on provision of portable water to his community through drilling of boreholes to ease the suffering of the people. But these projects were silently executed. This is Usman Ododo for you.
As an experienced civil servant, Ododo understands human development through strategic placement in the civil service. Hence, he mobilized human and material resources to provide job for the youths. At the moment, over 30 graduates from Kogi State are currently working in various Federal Ministries, Department and Agencies. Ododo is still doing more but as usual, silently.
The impact of Usman Ododo to humanity can not be over emphasized. However, we must not fail to recognize and acknowledge the support of Alh. Jibril Momoh, the State Accountant-General and of course their overall benefactor, Gov. Yahaya Adoza Bello.
